Nestled amidst the serene beauty of nature, Willow Creek Adventure Camp stands as a beacon of outdoor education and personal growth for campers of all ages. As October dawns, it marks a significant milestone in the camp’s history – 50 years of transformative experiences, and cherished memories.

The Walter Family have owned the property for 75 years this month, and the family actually ran the camps for many years, with times the camp also being leased or managed externally, too.

The camp became the home of “Beyond the Classroom” and the team from “Surf & Sun“ in 2020 and we look forward to a long and successful partnership with the Walter Family.

Back in the day, when tie-dye and disco were all the rage, Willow Creek Adventure Camp was born. Its mission was simple: to help people connect with nature and discover the joys of outdoor exploration. Over the years, the camp has become a beloved destination for adventure seekers of all ages.

Willow Creek Adventure Camp is not just about zip lines and campfires; it’s also a place where campers come to discover their strengths, overcome challenges, and push their limits. Through a variety of activities, campers have the chance to develop new skills, foster teamwork, and build resilience that will serve them well beyond their time at camp.

As the years have passed, Willow Creek Adventure Camp has evolved to meet the changing needs of visitors. And there are even more exciting renovations and expansions planned for the future!

To date, renovations are still ongoing as the property evolves into a premier outdoor education centre in South Australia. Future plans include expanding accommodation, dining areas, and more onsite activities.
